Jennifer Joyce

Jennifer, a Louisville native, has spent over 20 years working with horses. Her parents bought her and her sister a horse when she was 8 years old. After a few failed attempts at showing a saddlebred in the hunter ring, Jennifer tried her hand at eventing. Her first outing brought a 2nd placing and awoke the competitor within!

Jennifer attended college at the University of KY where she continued to compete in eventing. She also had a part-time job working at Champagne Run Farm, in Lexington. After graduating with a degree in Fine Arts & Advertising, Jennifer moved to Dallas where she spend 10 years as a Graphic/Web Designer and continued to work her way to the Advanced Level of eventing.

Jennifer has trained with top riders such as Elaine Gibala, Denny Emerson, Mike Huber, Sue Malone-Casey and Ian Stark to name a few. She has competed Advanced level and was Long-Listed with the USET after an amazing, 1-stirrup cross country ride at the Radnor Hunt CCI** 3-Day Event - Jennifer's stirrup leather broke off her saddle after fence 3, and she continued around 3 miles of Radnor's tough course without jumping penalties. Jennifer has had several dozen of top finishes and Year-End High Point awards .

Today, Jennifer is living on a farm in Paris, Ky. She has two top level prospects in training. She also works as a Graphic & Website Designer from home and trains horses and riders for eventing and dressage at Champagne Run. She is currently training with Elaine Gibala, and her husband, Tom, who was a grand prix jumper from Ireland. Tom Joyce, is a Qualified Master Farrier and keeps all her horses on the road! Tom and Jennifer's daughter, Caeleigh, loves to ride her pony and has dozens of toy horses and unicorns in training :)
